My software company Molo9™ was built to scale on demand, but I (the human) was not. On average I can take on (maximum) 1-3 new clients (at MD9™) every few months.
How many new customers could you honestly help this month?
What about next month?
Did you know that if you simply share this with prospects, it will increase their chances of buying?
Seriously. Look at these two examples:
Marketing Agency #1: “We are happy to help with your SEO whenever you’re ready just give us a call.”
Marketing Agency #2: “We would love to help with your SEO project, but I have to be honest; we only have space to take on two new clients this month and I have three more calls to make today, after this one. If you’re not sure, I can add you to our waitlist and circle back in four weeks?”
Which agency would you choose?
My brother is an artist, let’s look at how an artist could use this tactic:
Artist #1: “Whenever you want the mural painted just give me a call and I will pop right over.”
Artist #2: “I would love to paint the new mural in your living room, but I have to be honest; I only have space to take on two new commissions this month and I have three more calls to make today, after this one. If you’re not sure, I can add you to our waitlist and circle back next month?”
